Class 2: Nutrition & Gestation
When pregnant, it’s vital to eat a wide variety of foods to ensure you get all of the nutrients you need to grow your baby. Think fresh, real foods, and a variety of nutrients. It is super important for the development of baby and health of mom.
It turns out that eating a high-protein diet (such as the Brewer’s diet) during pregnancy is a great way to stave off preeclampsia, high blood pressure, swelling, premature labor, and other not-so-good pregnancy issues. Dr. Brewer recommends at least 80 grams of protein a day up to 100-120!

We will also be exploring our pregnant bodies in this class. Pregnancy can be a time of joy. It is important to widen your understanding of how your body works at this time.
Learn how to work with the natural process to increase your comfort and safety. Learn how your body works and how you can work with your body.
